DrTalks.com is looking for a Technical Chief Product officer who will lead and facilitate technology, Development, and Product Management teams to ensure they are creating products that deliver value to both the user and the business. We are on a mission to help 1 billion people suffering from a chronic illness get the health information they need directly from doctors’ content, on-demand at scale. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, organization, and product quality across DrTalks. 

Who are we: Dr. Talks brings together some of the most sought-after leaders on the front lines of health, wellness, and medicine. 

We provide on-demand access to talks, summits, Masterclasses, and more to people in need of it — straight from the Doctor. In short, we help specialized doctors share their knowledge and expertise with audiences primarily targeted in the US today, and globally shortly. 

The Team: You’ll be joining a fully remote team. Your colleagues are located in different parts of the world. Together you’ll scale DrTalks to reach over 1 Billion people.

The Technical Chief Product Officer will: 

Audit Drtalks’ current tech and Martech stack to find cost and operational efficiencies. 
● Determine a new Martech Stack to facilitate efficient scaling and growth 
● Plan and oversee the transition to the new Martech stack 
● Engage with key leaders and users to develop a user-centric design, and drive strategy with users to impact both the business and product side 
● Support the enhancement of product quality for the company through defining a clear digital strategy and creating a roadmap for digital initiatives, ensuring systematic implementation of new technologies and digital solutions (i.e. embedding generative AI, overseeing the development of Drtalks self-serve ad platform, improving user experience and efficiency, Automation and protection of Client Data, In-house innovation, iterative enhancements, and incorporating active customer feedback into product engineering) 
● Oversee a centralized product organization across all business units, including Product Management, Business Analysis, Technical Team, QA, and UI/UX design. 
● Be laser-focused on elevating our technology and security across the organization as well as the DrTalks team to maximize product adoption across the company. 
● Work with the Marketing, Operations, Affiliate, and Project Management teams to identify product roadmap initiatives within the ecosystem that support day-to-day initiatives. 
● Work with the CEO and the operations team to identify technological efficiencies driven through the product, measuring its success through clear OKRs and definitive impact. 
● Lead the development strategy for established and new industry-leading products or applications, and be responsible for representing the voice of the customer, and the voice of the seller. 
● Streamline product development processes and decisions to drive DrTalks product suite vision, strategy, and roadmap, across platforms, analytics, and applications, and lead solid business cases to inform strategic investment decisions. 
● Serves as a mentor to a rapidly growing technology and product team, utilizing their experience to build a first-in-class organization and product. ● Define and manage product application stack to foster higher retention, community referral, and higher product acquisitions (i.e. CRM, Marketing Automation, content marketing, content/user customized experiences, etc.)  

Core Responsibilities 

Translate the core strategic vision into a prioritized product roadmap, maintaining best practices and processes related to product planning, product management and overall product lifecycle management. 
● Recommend CDP vs Data Warehouse first data methodology and specific tools to create a scalable martech stack 
● Ability to work with and manage 3rd party vendors and applications (i.e. Create and Administer Webhooks, Define and administer data integrations, etc.) ● Work with technical teams to articulate technical requirements in order to take roadmap initiatives through the development lifecycle from prototype to generally available to end-of-life 
● Spearhead product development growth initiatives. 
● Collaborate in creating and maintaining a standard of excellence in how we architecturally improve DrTalks in partnering with 3rd party applications and critically & strategize, its features, as it aims to create a scalable product portfolio that will increase the company's profitability 
● Develop and evolve the DrTalks team structure, roles, processes, and responsibilities to improve our product quality 
● Spearhead technological advancements within DrTalks to further our success as an organization (i.e. CRM Automation Tool, Marketing Tool Strategies, Content Tool Recommendations, etc.) 
● Establish a systematic approach to product adoption, user guides, support, and documentation to further the usage of the DrTalks product 
● Advocate and publicize the DrTalks product, engage in speaking events and partnerships to further the public eye on DrTalks 
● Drive innovation through setting standards for new trends in the industry, both for the technical quality of our products and our user experience 
● Foster creativity within the PM and UX teams to drive further product success and adoption 
● Develop new systems with business units and overseeing product development life cycle key steps .
Ensure data privacy and protection by managing teams to strategize and support security efforts 
● Establish new ways to connect with users, provide them support, and drive change makers within the organization who in turn advocate for DrTalks as well 
● Hire, and directly manage:

■ Front End Developers
■ Backend Developers 
■ QA 
■ Additional teams as necessary

Reports to:  CEO 

● Set and manage quarterly and long-term goals centered around the execution of the nova roadmaps, consistently update the vision/roadmaps 
● Engage with key leaders and users to develop a user-centric design, drive strategy with users to impact both the business and product side of DrTalks 
● Recommending product development strategies that generate increased revenue through sales of the new product. 
● Determining how much new products should cost 
● Must possess a strategic product vision that aims to create a scalable product portfolio that will increase the company's profitability. 
● Must also confirm product sales strategies are reviewed, refined, and supported. 
● Must support the product after its release to ensure it is consistently improved and that it continues to satisfy customers. 
● Responsible for designing, improving, and maintaining the product to guarantee it continues to satisfy customers; remaining sensitive to customers' needs and desires will facilitate this process.
 
Requirements 

  • 5+ years of software development/product experience with emphasis/experience in product management and ownership 
● Drive to create groundbreaking products, and create exponential success as part of a high-performing team 
● Ability to effectively lead and motivate teams across a variety of functional roles 
● Previous experience leading a software development team and/or product team 
● In-depth knowledge of performance marketing (tactics, channels, measurement, etc.) 
● Entrepreneurial spirit with a hunger to make decisions and grow a team 
● In-depth knowledge of technical applications and languages including PHP, Javascript, etc.   
  • Experience interpreting customer needs and market trends 
● Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in as fast-paced environment 
● Experience leading deeply technical product plans and aligning business strategy and technology delivery 
● Proven change agent and a strong strategic thinker 
● Proven track record of clear communications with C-suite stakeholders and across cross-functional teams 
● Data-driven method for decision-making using KPIs and metrics
